Collette started her career in financial services in 1987, after relocating from New York City. She joined Preferred Pensions LLC in 1995, which merged with U.S. Financial Services in 2018. Collette’s role at USFS today is Executive Assistant to Matthew DeFelice, one of the firm’s Partners. She also continues to work with Carolyn Lloyd-Cohen, founder of PPLC, and the clients that are now also with USFS. Her diverse responsibilities include both insurance and financial planning, divided between new business establishment and existing client service.
Collette and her husband, Rob, live with their 5 dogs and many beautiful and wily Tonkinese cats. They have been breeding and showing “Tonks” for more than 20 years. They enjoy vacationing in Maine, Country music concerts, Broadway theater and cooking. In the Spring of 2019, they took the vacation of a lifetime with family on a Viking River Cruise up the Rhine River from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They fell in love with Europe and can’t wait to go back again.
