Jeff’s passion for finance began in high school, sparked by his grandmother’s early lessons in investing. After earning his degree in Business Law & Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, he dedicated his career to helping individuals navigate their financial plans and investments. In 1998, Jeff co-founded BMH Investment Group alongside B.J. Bryant, later merging the practice with U.S. Financial Services.
With more than three decades of experience as a finance professional, Jeff blends deep industry expertise with a modern, relevant perspective. Commitment to continuous learning is a cornerstone of his practice; he prioritizes staying at the forefront of financial planning strategies to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Clients value Jeff most for his high energy, deep personal care, and hands-on approach.
Though born in Alaska, Jeff has spent the majority of his life in Charlotte and is deeply rooted in the community. He actively partners with local charities, having supported Habitat for Humanity and Angels & Sparrows over the years, and currently focuses his philanthropic efforts on the CLT Foundation.
Outside the office, Jeff is an avid sports enthusiast who stays active through CrossFit, beach volleyball, rucking, and trail running. He is a proud, involved father to his two daughters—Savannah, 23, living and thriving in Wilmington, and Olivia, 21, a senior student-athlete (beach volleyball) at Arizona State. As he adapts to an empty nest, you can occasionally find him chasing warm sunshine and clear waters.
